Serving the customer comes first. You don't spend 10 minutes cleaning and reorganizing the wait stations with your back to the patrons while they are waiting to have their order taken or while their meal gets cold as it sits in the window from the kitchen waiting to be served.
Also, they are very presumptuous when it comes to "keeping the change". My check was $14.15 and I paid with a $20 bill, but they only gave me $5 back in change and pocketed the balance. They have done this to me several times. Guess what ladies, the money you just stole from me is getting deducted from your tip, which is going to be much smaller now because of your theft. Don't steal from the customers!
